My key takeaway from GVSETS 2026: the Army is not short on innovation. The challenge is turning promising technology into sustainable capability through faster decisions, better integration, clear transition paths, and stronger connections between industry, acquisition, production, and sustainment.

A strong capability alone is not enough. Army opportunities move when requirements, stakeholders, funding, acquisition, sustainment, and operational value are connected into an executable strategy.
